The task of making a solo piano version of w o v e n took much longerthan I imagined it would. About half of the numbers were quite simple, as their recording used a minimal amount of multi-tracking. However, the other pieces presented some challenges concerning which parts to include for a satisfying (and playable) arrangement for one person, and which parts I would reluctantly omit. For the most part I was happy with the resulting translation, but no matter how hard I tried, I was not able to create a workable solo piano version of singing old songs. So, rather than miss it out entirely, I settled on a version for 4 hands at one piano.
